Virginia health care workforce shortage was the topic of conversation at this particular Cabinet Community Day

On November 27, 2006, Governor Tim Kaine and some members of his cabinet visited the Medical Education Campus of Northern Virginia Community College. The Governor’s focus on the Virginia health care workforce shortage was the topic of conversation at this particular Cabinet Community Day. NoVaHealthFORCE and the PricewaterHouseCoopers study on the scope and impact of the health care worker shortage in northern Virginia is the result of efforts of Dr. Robert G. Templin, Jr., Northern Virginia Community College President and chairman of the NoVaHealthFORCE steering committee.
